I'm searching for a free 3D simple PC game that supports controllers. Here are some genre ideas in any order:
racing – mainly futuristic, like the links provided
platformer – should feel similar to Super Mario 64
RPG – needs action focus with minimal puzzles
action – similar to Tomb Raider, avoiding tough sections that demand quick reflexes or sharp thinking (only losing health if I fail is okay)

Checking the stores linked to these launchers might reveal affordable options. Many of the Need for Speed versions are enjoyable and budget-friendly. Forza and Dirt also stand out in my mind.

Using an emulator could potentially let you access titles like Gran Turismo from early PS releases at no cost. Otherwise, I don’t have further recommendations and hope you find what you’re looking for.
