I just swapped my Intel i5-9400f for an
Intel i7-9700 3.00GHz
model. I left my Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO cooler in place.
Now occasionally I notice a CPU overheating alert when starting up.
If I power down the PC and wait a few minutes, the warning disappears.
Any suggestions on why this might be happening and how to resolve it?

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide complete system specifications. List them as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
If the internal components haven’t been altered since assembly, consider disconnecting the system from the power source, removing the side panel, and cleaning out the internal parts. Dust accumulation could reduce the efficiency of the CPU cooler in cooling the system. The case vents might also be blocked, limiting airflow to the cooler.

I made adjustments to the original text while keeping its length and structure intact. The tone remains consistent, and all key points are preserved.

Hey there,
It seems like this might be related to a cooler or thermal paste problem. I'm guessing you re-applied the paste during the installation of the new CPU? The TX3 should help keep the CPU from overheating during startup and booting, though it might struggle under heavy load.

The motherboard's fan profile chart will display this information. If it remains at zero RPM during startup, you may encounter these issues. Begin at 500 RPM or higher.

Do you have any ideas for a good cooler to use in the UK?
