i switched my ISP to Ozark Electric and everything seems fine except for the Wi-Fi issues. before that, I played a game called Uta-Macross and didn’t experience DC problems in the app. now I frequently see DC errors, especially when using cell data. The same happens with another app, Date a Live Spirit Pledge, which is from China. I’m downloading over 1GB of data for it, but I still get DC errors at least eight times. It might be that my old Netgear router has some bottleneck issues. I’m wondering if I need a third-party router or if I’m missing something. When I switch to cell data, I never get DC errors, but on Wi-Fi they keep happening. I’m not sure what’s causing this.

For an Android device, you can run Wif Analyzer to assess signal quality. It might indicate interference on the WiFi frequency you're using. Are you connected to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band?
