They mentioned trying it on a processor first; if it functions, they won’t proceed to the RMA stage. In any scenario, once it works, they won’t make any changes.

In my opinion, the best option is to discard that board and switch to another one you're comfortable with.

I’m planning to construct it and test its functionality.
Just in case, I wonder if it’s worth trying—since they won’t modify it even if it succeeds.
After all, if it works, why bother changing anything?
