Is there a 350W PSU suitable for a GTX 1060 with 6GB RAM?
Hello i'm trying to figure out if I can safely run a GTX 1060 6GB with my current 350W psu or if i'll have to replace it or smth.
Most of the time ill be playing games that require a lot of power from my system.
anyway here is the stuff I got.
IP-S350T1-0 PSU, i7-2600 CPU, 12gb ddr3 ram, DH61WW motherboard and a 300GB hdd. I'll also probably be mostly doing 1080p gaming, monitor is like 27 inches.
if its not gonna be compatible then let me know if theres an alternate GPU I could get for around the same price tag which wont have massively less performance than this and can be compatible.
im also fairly new to this pc stuff
The 264w @12v setup would suffice provided the PSU includes the necessary PCIe port.
Alright, topic is still open if anybody has smth to say or advice.
As mentioned: it worked fine. I created a setup for a friend using an i5-10400, GTX 1060 with 6GB VRAM, and a 300W Silverstone SFX unit.
