Hi all,
I recently installed a new computer using a Pentium G3258 with the original cooler. Initially, running at 3.2 GHz to 4.2 GHz caused high temperatures in the upper 70s. After replacing it with a Master Hyper TX3 cooler, I was able to raise the temperature back down to the mid-50s. Trying to push it further to 4.4 GHz resulted in temperatures around the high 50s to low 60s on Prime95. Are these levels acceptable for sustained use? I'm looking for a balance between performance and longevity.

Keep the temperatures below 80*c and it's okay. Many prefer max load temps to stay under the mid 70s. Your temps look good.

I had my main chip infected so I put it on hold until I could repair it. I've been relying on my backup version, which I haven't touched in a while. I realized how powerful that board is. I'm using a GTX 660 Ti Vidi card and set it to run at 4.407 GHz with 1.259 volts using a Hyper 212 EVO. It operates between 35-45°C under 25% load, and around 60°C at full load—still manageable.
