Hello, and thank you for reaching out. I understand your concern about the card you received. I had a similar situation when checking the VRAM details, as my system displayed only 8GB despite the card having 10GB. I’m wondering if there could be an issue with the VRAM module itself or if it’s possible that one of the chips failed. I’ve verified through several tools like GPU-Z and CPU-Z, but they all confirm 8GB usage. It would be helpful to know what might cause this discrepancy. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed!

I can't display or send screenshots directly. However, I can guide you on how to capture the GPU-Z image yourself.

According to what I know, there are just two RXT 3080 cards available. The options include 10gb and 12gb models.

Without opening the GPU to verify memory usage, inspect all the board stickers and labels. You might have received a 3070. Although it isn't a poor card, it doesn't match the price you paid.

I'm still dealing with the same problem four years ago, and it seems like the only information available is this one thread online!
