Hi there,
I purchased a game on Steam last night and was closing the purchase. I noticed in MSI Afterburner that the GPU clock increased to simulate gaming performance. In the task manager, Steam Client Webhelper was consuming about 40% of the GPU. It would then drop to zero and quickly return after around 15 to 20 seconds. After restarting the machine, it stopped, a virus scan was run, and nothing was found. Any suggestions?

Hey there, glad you replied. The GPU is a solid 1080Ti and the CPU runs an i9-9900k.

In steam settings, disable hardware accelerated rendering in web views. Check if this resolves the issue.
