Hey there! I've got some thoughts on what to do next. Your current setup is solid but seems a bit stretched out—your Rampage V + i7 5820K is handling 4K gaming and coding, which is great. You're thinking about upgrading, so let's look at the options.

For RAM, you're stuck with 3900x, but you're weighing 3800x vs 3900x. In your region, 3900x is around 450€ while 3800x is about 330€—so the price difference might not be huge. If you want to overclock, a good motherboard in the 350€ range would be something similar to what you're using now.

Regarding CPUs, the 7th and 9th gen models are still solid choices. They offer better performance than the i7 9700K or i9 9900K, especially if you're planning more demanding tasks like deep learning or machine learning. The 7th gen is a bit newer and offers a nice balance, while the 9th is even more powerful but might be a bit pricier.

If you're leaning toward staying in the same price range, the 3800x could still work well depending on your budget and future needs. Just make sure it has decent overclocking support and good thermal performance.

Let me know if you want more details on any of these options!

Consider your specific needs. Is this for a gaming setup? Do you also handle productivity tasks such as video editing?

Consider a 3700x resolution for your needs. Allocate funds to a stronger GPU if you're playing at 4K.

The 3700x will suffice for that task. For machine learning projects, you'll also require a new NVIDIA GPU.

@4K could be handled by an R5 3600. Unless you intend to combine it with a 3080Ti later.
