I'm struggling to fit either RAM stick into the slot on the motherboard. I double-checked the alignment carefully. Applying a lot of force caused one to go in but then the pins inside began to make loud noises. Eventually, the left side of the RAM stuck, and removing it required even more effort than before. Some gold pins on the sticks appear scratched, which I noticed after inspecting them beforehand. The sticks seem to be resisting further movement halfway into the slot. I've tried all four slots. The video by Linus looks straightforward, and another YT video uses the same motherboard. I'm wondering if these RAM sticks are thicker than expected...
After numerous attempts, the only dependable method is this one (left side highlighted). It requires significant effort for both sides to interact properly (left side clicks unexpectedly). I’m also uncertain about installing a RAM stick this way.
I repeated what Linus advised before sharing this, but they only come through when I use strong influences...

No, there is no issue with the "thickness of the PCB". You're just putting the stick in the wrong way.
I attempted every possible method—starting first, using both at once—but the lock didn’t click. Instead, it slowly shifted into place, and I could sense the stick still touching my hand without fully fitting. Perhaps purchasing a new stick would help identify the issue.
