Is the QuestionHyperX Alloy Origins Core keyboard malfunctioning?
Just began setting up my PC and the HyperX Alloy Origins Core Keyboard isn't functioning. No lights, no typing, and the PC doesn't recognize the device in Device Manager or elsewhere. I've tried several fixes: resetting the keyboard to factory settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the HyperX Ngenuity software, testing different USB ports, and even connecting it to other devices. Still nothing works. Although I can confirm the cable works with USB C devices, I'm worried the keyboard might be faulty. I'm exploring other solutions and would appreciate any suggestions. I've checked other posts and forums for help, but nothing has resolved the issue—does this mean the keyboard is dead?
The keyboard's malfunction across various computers points to its age, as most devices have a limited lifespan due to an internal end-of-life schedule. Almost every part is affected by this, so a single failing component usually leads to the issue.
