I noticed your RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 TI 16GB models both use an 8-pin PSU connector.
The Corsair CP-9020112-DE you have might not be compatible with that setup, as it lacks the extra wires you received during purchase. You currently have a 6-pin connector connected to a GTX 1060 GPU.
I also want to clarify that this PSU is not the newer Corsair 650M or Silver Plus models. It's the German version, specifically Bronze Plus.

The PSU I own was released in 2016, but for your question, you should note when you bought it. How do you deal with unreliable PSUs? I own the Corsair CP-9020112-DE. As mentioned before, if your PSU doesn't have the right connectors for your equipment, you either get the wrong PSU or the incorrect components for your build.

The 24pin main and 8pin EPS connectors are the only ones directly connected to the PSU. If your GPU is attached via the PCIe auxiliary harness, you should remove the 6pin connector's two pins, turning it into an 8pin PCIe connector.
The issue is... does this work with the 5060 Ti 16gb? I'm asking because I bought it in 2016.
Your PSU is 9 years old and comes with a 5-year warranty. I recommend avoiding pairing it with an RTX 5060Ti.
On the other hand, it's a solid PSU from a trustworthy manufacturer with a bronze certification.
Not applicable in 2025.

When it first came out in 2016, it wasn't a good power supply unit. It was a low-quality model (Tier C). Now, after nine years and the warranty gone, it's seen as of poor quality. Also, just because a brand exists doesn't guarantee quality—every manufacturer has produced subpar products. Take Corsair VS-series as an example; it's essentially junk. If you can afford a $350 GPU, you can also invest in a decent PSU without breaking the bank.
