Hello everyone, my computer has started crashing unexpectedly during video game sessions, demanding more powerful hardware.
For instance, I managed to play Stray and Hogwarts Legacy smoothly at launch, but recently attempting to play Hogwarts Legacy caused my PC to freeze completely—affecting sound, video, keyboard, and mouse.
After trying to restart, it entered BIOS, so I ended up shutting it down and going to sleep.
The next day, when I powered it back on, it worked fine until I tried playing the new Avatar game again and it crashed once more.
Currently, the PC won’t turn on at all; the VGA and boot lights are illuminated on my machine. I attempted to remove all drives except the operating system drive, but that didn’t help. I switched the DP cable with an HDMI cable without success. Eventually, I restarted it several times until it finally turned on.
Temperatures remain normal during gaming, with GPU at 69-70°C and CPU around 50-60°C.

EDIT: My PC crashed again while writing this message, and now it won’t power up again. The BOOT and VGA lights are still on on my MOBO. No background processes were active except Firefox, which I used to compose this post. I’m still following the troubleshooting thread on my MacBook since my PC remains unresponsive. It sometimes enters BIOS and other times doesn’t.

Any suggestions on what might be causing these issues?
I suspect the power supply unit could be the culprit, as removing my old SSD didn’t resolve the problem.
Details of hardware:
- MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING (Oct 2020)
- M2 NVMe SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB (Oct 2022)
- SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 1TB (Mar 2020)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-10700KF (Oct 2020)
- CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken X63 RGB (Oct 2020)
- GPU: ASUS Radeon RX 6700XT Dual OC (Oct 2022)
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 2x16GB (Oct 2020)
- PSU: Corsair CX750F RGB 80+ Bronze (Oct 2020)
- Case: NZXT H510 Elite (Oct 2020)
- OS: Windows 11

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Note: Corsair CX750F RGB 80+ Bronze (October 2020)
Consider using a more reliable unit for better performance.
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X63 RGB (October 2020)
Possible issue with the pump; do you have an air cooler ready? What is the orientation of your AIO? Do you have any photos of the internal setup?

Hi Lutfij, sorry for the slow reply and thanks for your message!
I've attached images of my build components; unfortunately, I don't have an air cooler ready.

I'm considering upgrading my PSU soon, so that might be something to think about.
Also, I just updated my BIOS from version 0707 (2020/08/28) to 2801 (2023/12/01). My PC is turning on now, but I worry it could happen again.
