I bought an MSI B450i Gaming Plus AC ITX motherboard and a AMD Ryzen 3 3200G CPU for my HTPC setup. I requested the store to update the BIOS before delivery since I didn’t have any Ryzen CPUs and wanted everything ready. Everything starts up correctly. While checking the BIOS, I saw it shows an older version than the latest non-BETA release listed on MSI’s site. The current BIOS is showing E7A40AMS.ACO dated June 2012. The board itself lists MS-7A40 V2.0 as printed on the PCB. The newest non-BETA version available on MSI’s website is: Version 7A40vAC, released on June 16, 2020. Should I update the BIOS now? Also, besides the drivers, do you recommend installing AMD Ryzen Master or any other software? My system runs Windows 10 Pro.
