I have a MSI GTX 1080 ti gaming X. I've set my power limit to 117% with a core clock offset of +85 and memory clock offset of +500. On one benchmark, it was found that the power limit was surpassed, exceeding the set value. The card can consume up to 330 watts, but hwinfo indicated it went beyond +117 to +121, consuming around 342 watts. Anyone know why this occurs? Why is the power limit being ignored? Could this affect the card's performance? It's just a small increase, but it's worrying. Thanks.

My card behaves similarly in certain games as well. Unclear why this occurs; I inquired on the EVGA forums, but they didn’t provide a definitive explanation. Perhaps another member has more insight? I’m hoping so.
