I'm considering purchasing the Lenovo IdeaPad 5G 14Q8X05 with the 8CX processor.
This model is available at around US$330, new and sealed.
Most similar laptops at this price don't include a 1080P IPS display, backlit keyboard, IR webcam, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, or a 5G modem.
I plan to use it mainly for browsing the internet, watching videos, doing basic office tasks, and playing older games that are originally made for Windows RT, which should run directly.
All the applications I intend to use will be native for Windows on ARM systems.
Is this a good deal at US$330? It was advertised for US$1,300 when it launched in November 2021.

For $330 it looks like a solid offer. The device is merely average according to reviews. Speed might lag, especially when opening multiple Chrome tabs alongside it.

Thank you for your feedback. The reviews I found for 8cx processors mostly date from 2019 to 2021, a time when native app usage was minimal and many reviews relied on emulated software. I believe it would be wise to visit the store and test it firsthand before buying. It will also be intriguing to observe its performance with the newest version of Windows 11 on ARM.
