Hi, I own a Dell Inspiron 15 3576 and encountered an issue that seems confusing. It keeps displaying mixed messages, and while I thought the battery was low, I didn’t mind because I’m always connected to the charger. I wondered if swapping out the charger would help avoid constant charging. After changing power settings, the laptop slowed down significantly, even though I adjusted it back to high performance. Is there a way to restore its speed? Thanks for your help—I’m trying to stay organized and need guidance.

It seems the charger can't simply stay inside the laptop and function. I need to replace the battery for it to operate properly. Please don’t worry if I’m not an expert.

It might be the battery, the AC adapter, or the charging circuit on the motherboard. Because the battery can be taken out easily on this model, does the issue happen when it's removed?

I took out the battery and didn’t see any messages when it started, indicating the issue is likely with the battery. You can try running the computer faster or wait until you replace the battery.

Do you recall the content of the screen when the issue appeared? If not, reinstall the battery and verify the error by checking the BIOS clock speed.

I don’t really understand but the performance seemed to break because my laptop didn’t lag much after an SSD upgrade. Loading took only a second, but Windows booted slowly and apps ran very slowly. After restarting, I found the error when trying to adjust power settings, which took a long time and didn’t respond well. I’m wondering if it’s still slow and should I turn it off to see if it improves? Also, is there a way to reach you through Discord?
