Is the high voltage on your 10850K CPU causing issues?
Hello everyone,
I'm testing the MSI Z490 A Pro Mobo and checking if the voltage is appropriate. I don't want to overclock it. At idle, the temperature is between 29-31°C with the MSI MAG 360r cooler, and the voltage fluctuates from 0.667v to 1.36v. During gaming, the temps are around 62-66°C, and the voltage was 1.39v. I think it reached about 1.4v. Should I lower it or is this normal?
When the underclock temperature hits 85°C after 25 seconds, it stabilizes at 67-68°C with stable power output (125W).
Regarding BIOS settings, I'm trying to reduce voltage without overclocking—just want to keep it at stock performance. XMP is disabled, Enhanced Turbo is off, Intel Turbo Boost is on, and CPU Voltage is set to Auto. In the last picture, the value shown was 1.3v, but Auto mode is selected instead.
I'm also adding some pictures for reference. If the voltage is too high, what should I do to lower it? I plan to use this processor for about 4-5 years.
