Is the GPU correctly linked?
Hello!
I'm experiencing issues with my microATX motherboard and RX 6800 GPU. The motherboard is large, and the GPU is bulky, making it hard to fully connect to the PCIe port. The front panel connectors, USBs, and HD Audio are positioned below the ports, and the GPU's thickness seems to block full insertion. Despite this, the system detects the GPU, drivers work well, and it functions under moderate load. However, when running demanding games like Matrix UE5, the game appears blurry, the GPU overheats to 90°C, power draw hits 180W, and the PC shuts off after about five seconds.
Could these symptoms confirm that the GPU isn't making proper contact in the PCIe port? (My PSU was recently upgraded to 850W from a Seasonic model.)
