Recently, I checked YouTube and clicked a video like everyone else. Suddenly, it led me to a page showing a GIF of NFL player Richard Sherman. At the bottom, it mentioned using a Google extension named "Do not Disturb" to block such content. I installed it from the app store. Someone might have noticed this redirect and asked about the extension's safety and why the link appeared.

It wouldn't be wise to leave it in. Run a virus scan immediately. The safest option is to install Bitdefender Traffic Light for Chrome and enable OpenDNS to filter harmful sites.

Perform a thorough virus scan and then set up Adblock Plus. It appears there may be suspicious content redirecting you, likely due to a malicious ad, which you’ll need to remove.
