Just redownloaded the game from Uplay and ubisoft launcher, and now I'm having a good time. But honestly, I don't care about the main story or what I do most of the time. It's getting annoying because there are no snowy places for me (the first zone had snow), so I am stuck in Div 2 even though there is armor and enemies that are easy to defeat. The real problem is that I have a hard time finding partners to play missions with; it seems like nobody uses the matchmaking group finder feature. Also, since this game comes from Ubisoft's launcher, you won't see any population going up or down in numbers as described in my text (Steam community tab shows live In Game population for each game). I do see people standing around in safe houses doing nothing. Should I try playing it again in 2022? Yeah, I can play alone but I would love to see others playing too.

I got sucked into the first Division game when Ubi offered a free trial, then bought a copy off eBay bundled with the Survival DLC for like $12. The trial was very misleading because it didn't show ANY of the excessive grinding you have to do for better gear. Granted I've never been a huge fan of tiered loot games, but Ubi is the absolute worst I've seen at making them. Anyway, regarding server activities in games, there's a site that shows live player count. Tom Clancy’s Division 2 Division 2 Live Player CounterLive Counter RefreshLive Players (LIVE)Active Players (30D)Twitch Viewers (30D) Discover how many players are concurrently playing activeplayer.io Keep in mind this is an estimation of global activity on all platforms, so if you consider only servers close enough to you for an acceptable ping, it's much lower. To me it looks like low popularity factoring desirable ping.
