When I play Apex Legends on Steam I earn around 70c+ per game. No other game achieves this. I mostly compete, so I keep settings low. I'm not sure why it's so high.

I have Gamemode/hags enabled and PBO is active.

My current build:
7950x3d
arctic freezer II 280mm
x670E Asrock Taichi
32gb neo trident 6000mhz
7000D corsair with 7 case fans
XFX 7900XTX AMD
SN850x m.2 ssd x3, 1Tb, 1Tb, and 2Tb

I mean that temp is not ideal, but its no where near concerning. It being a battle royale does mean it uses a fair amount of your CPU, but i dont know, your pc being a brand new one, i dont think a simple repaste on your CPU would solve it, maybe fan config? What fan config are you running?
If it means anything to you, my r5 3600 runs around 65C on Forza Horizon 5, cooled by a ROG RYUJIN 360mm rad, mounted on top of a CM H500P mesh case.

I received 7 case fans excluding the CPU cooler ones, which means 4 exhaust and 3 intake fans. This is the only game that causes my CPU to overheat.
