Is the CPU core voltage insufficient?
I've been attempting to understand why my PC has been struggling over the past year, especially since it no longer runs games smoothly even with full ray-tracing capabilities. It seems likely the power supply unit might be the issue, possibly requiring a replacement. While I recognize a PSU tester would be the ideal solution, I've already invested significantly in troubleshooting and want to avoid further expenses. There are many discussions online about similar problems, but most suggest it's within acceptable limits for me. The current voltage reading is around .480V with a maximum of .568V. The power supply unit does not control the CPU core voltage. The VRM on the motherboard manages that. What is the model and brand of your PSU?
Is this reading taken while the CPU is active or when it's idle? If it's idle, that's acceptable. The power-saving mode is engaged.
