I'm taken aback the CPU was the issue, it's usually not the first thing I'd think of as the cause, but maybe some components do fail.
I don't mind the temperatures. Using the AMD Wraith is fine; my Dark Rock 4 would be quieter.

Now that the engine is off, temperatures rise to 92C for minimal effort activities. That might not sound ideal.

I was running a wraith on my 3600 for some time, the temperatures stayed within normal ranges. This setup includes a fractal design R4 with five noctua fans, but all the drive cages were taken out.
