Welcome to the forums, newcomer! 1| It's recommended to format your thread with details about the questions in this thread; *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* This is based on the adaptation of the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* Sticky. I developed it because many people are now seeking upgrade advice here and on the CPU forums, and I think... forums. 2| Providing context about the parts list and the build's goal is useful—especially regarding your budget for the project, so we can identify areas for improvement. 3| If you're not based in the USA, since this site and its traffic originate from that region, the PCPartPicker list becomes irrelevant. That's why we encourage users to share their location, budget, and preferred purchasing site. All the information provided in the link I included here is relevant. On the surface, the build seems acceptable, though I would suggest adding another smaller SSD for the operating system, applications, and launchers, and increasing the capacity of larger SSDs up to 2TB.

They're suggesting I upgrade the SSD to 2TB, but it would exceed my budget. I'll consider it then. Sorry, I'm not sure how to create threads.

part modifications and recommendations for accommodating 2tb storage, along with a small drive for the operating system which is an SSD. You wish to preserve your high-speed slots for games and files. Updated motherboard installed, replaced PSU (Gigabyte history of PSU failures).
