Is the computer restarting unexpectedly?
Alright guys. I bought a new AIO because the old one was nearly five years old, so I decided to upgrade for some fun. Played Warzone for about five hours last night with the boys and wife... everything was fine. This morning I woke up and the screen went black again, sitting on the Q15 once more. I changed the outlets to make sure it wasn’t an issue there. Here’s what I’m thinking. I’ve swapped everything so far. I’m probably making a mistake—I bought a “Like New” MB from Amazon to replace the bad one, and this one seems to be faulty too. Maybe it’s a long shot, but I’m thinking about returning the ASUS HERO VIII. I’m heading to Best Buy soon to pick up the only AM4 board they have, which is the MSI B550 Gaming Plus. I’ll let you know as soon as I can. Fingers crossed... The Q15 is still not booting. It probably means the motherboard is faulty. I’ve replaced the memory and CPU, but the problem persists... ahhhh, headaches.
Went shopping for an MSI B550 MB and thought I’d go with the cheaper ASUS model. But when I got home, everything wouldn’t power up. Lights came on everywhere—even the CPU LED. Tried swapping all components one by one in a test build, even replacing another CPU, but nothing worked. Guess it’s the BIOS from my previous machine that’s the issue. Still unsure if it’s a short in the RESET switch cable. I’m leaving town for a week and plan to leave it on to check if it crashes. Will post the update later.
