Is the computer not performing well?
recently i received a 3070 from my friend, removed the old drivers for my 1660S, reinstalled them, and started using the new ones. when playing games, i experienced similar performance to my original configuration. i’m aware i’m still somewhat limited but don’t think it’s too bad. here are my full specifications with a userbenchmark.

You're experiencing constraints from your mix-and-match RAM, which might be restricting the highest achievable clock speed on the RAM. Your CPU isn't hitting its maximum turbo frequency. It could also be due to cooling or power problems. The 450W power supply paired with a 3070 is a suitable option for managing performance limits.
gotcha, I didn't realize the mix match would cause an issue. I bought the kits separately at different times, and they didn't have the same speed available. I actually thought a 450w wouldn't be too much, but I was unsure if it would be sufficient.
Assuming all RAM sticks are operating at DDR4-2666, this represents the maximum speed officially supported by Intel. Since Intel CPUs generally show less sensitivity to memory speed compared to AMD, I believe memory shouldn't be a concern. The power supply wouldn't pose a problem either; it simply delivers the required wattage when needed. Whether the PSU can manage it depends on its capacity, but it won't draw less power if the system is nearing full load. Outside of brief spikes, this configuration should stay well below 100% utilization. Based on available data, you're likely within a range of 350-400W. Running different games and additional tasks might push the CPU closer to its limits, but it's not a clear-cut case.
tried a less demanding game and portal rtx performed as expected compared to others. cpu usage was around 50%, while gpu reached 100%. likely i'm facing heavy bottlenecks in certain titles, such as assetto corsa and minecraft, which cause occasional dips. those are generally cpu-heavy games. i think it would be better to stick with less CPU-intensive titles.
