Hi everyone
I used to own a Brother MFC-933 0 CDW Printer since 2015.
I never swapped out the waste toner box. I replaced the drum once and now the printer is no longer in use.
I recently acquired two almost-new Brother MFC-9335CDW printers from a friend, who keeps them in his workshop storage while he operates two industrial machines.
The warning I’m seeing on one of these MFC-9335CDW printers is:
"WT Box End Soon"

I checked the links below:

Could you let me know what else I should inspect?
Is this a false alarm or should I replace the waste toner box?
Thanks.

The waste toner box is treated as a consumable item. When the printer indicates it's empty, replace it. Avoid attempting to bypass the message.

I have two identical models, so I swapped the WT box between the one without errors and the one with an error. Now both machines are experiencing the same issues. I think the WT box on machine B needs to be replaced, as it also has a problem (the error message didn’t clear even after using the correct WT box).

Hi everyone, the waste toner boxes aren't too costly. You can purchase the fake ones at a low price -
https://www.inkhub.com.au/products/broth...toner-pack. In my view, it's not worth the trouble to experiment with the old unit. If it ends up being completely filled with toner powder, which it will eventually be, then your printer will get contaminated by excess toner.
