Hi, I recently upgraded my PC by replacing the old PSU with an Asus Tuf Gaming 1000w Gold. My previous PSU was an EVGA 1000GQ, which had more connectors. While everything works without it, some devices like my Corsair fan controller and hub aren’t getting power, so they stop spinning or lose RGB control. I need compatible SATA power cables for the rest of my setup but don’t know where to buy them individually. I’d rather not buy a big bundle just for one cable and can’t use the old PSU anymore since it’s now in my brother’s build. Thanks in advance.

Don't rely on connecting cables from one power supply to another unless you're certain they match because you've already checked the pin configurations of both devices. You're very fortunate you didn't trigger a room full of smoke, damage the PSU, or affect connected equipment. While the pin arrangements on the motherboard and components are usually consistent, the PSU side varies significantly—some designs work, but many don't due to differing modular layouts.

I haven't found any available choices for a unified SATA power cable specifically for your PSU model. Options are limited to sites like modmymods.com, where you can explore modifications for ASUS-compatible Type 1 cables, or reaching out directly to ASUS to inquire about availability. It appears the Type 1 cable is the correct solution, and there may be other PSU models that offer compatible alternatives, possibly available on platforms like Ebay at reasonable prices.

Any of the listed models should meet the pin requirements for a Type 1 SATA power cable. Refer to the Modular Cable Compatibility Chart for more details.
