Your budget ranges from approximately £500 to £600.
You're looking for a notebook with a 15-inch screen, preferably HD (1080/1440).
You prefer a resolution of 1080 or 1440 pixels.
You're unsure whether you need a portable or desktop laptop.
Your battery life requirements are not critical since you’ll be plugged in.
You’d like to play games on your laptop; if yes, please specify the titles and desired settings (Low, Medium, or High).
You enjoy indie games but are open to older AAA titles if you can. Examples include Ghost of Tsushima and God of War - Cyberpunk (LOL).
You also want to use your laptop for tasks like photo/video editing.
Storage is useful for larger video files, but strong USB connectivity is more important due to external drives.
You need around 512GB of storage, preferably on a C: drive.
If you plan to buy from specific sites, please share the links.
You’re not particularly attached to any brand and don’t have loyalty issues.
You intend to keep your laptop for about five years.
You’re not restricted to a particular type of optical drive; DVD ROM/writer or Bluray ROM/writer are fine.
Your preferred brands include Medion, Asus Tuf A15, and others like HP or Lenovo.
You reside in the United Kingdom.
If you have any more details to add, let me know.

I had to include items beyond the stated budget, but the MSI laptop seems appealing. I believe you won't find much under £600. I think increasing the budget would allow for a more powerful machine that could last longer.

Hi Lutfij, that's great to hear.
I always have the chance to choose a payment plan, though I'm not a big fan, but I could stretch the budget a bit.
A 4050 would definitely be a big improvement, wouldn't it?
Thanks for taking the time.

It would definitely be a major improvement wouldn't it?
The 2021 ASUS TUF Gaming A15 is packed with features and designed for intense gaming, offering a stylish look. The GeForce RTX™ 3050 GPU ensures smooth performance on up to a 144Hz screen with full sRGB, and the AMD Ryzen™ 7 CPU provides strong processing power.
Some might have preferred an RTX4060, but it seems the current model meets expectations for durability.
