Is the application secure for use?
I downloaded AppBlock premium from Mobilism, a site offering free premium apps. However, when I checked it on Virus Total to see if it was malicious, it reported a virus, possibly the Tgis virus used for displaying ads on my phone, though I haven’t noticed any ads yet. I tried other sites and they said it’s clean, but since I have strict mode enabled, I can’t uninstall it until the timer ends. Do you think I should keep it if it doesn’t show ads? Also, why don’t other antivirus programs or Malwarebytes detect any issues with this app?
When a program, app, or application is usually paid, but a certain website offers it for free, it isn't considered secure. Particularly when antivirus tools or VirusTotal indicate it's unsafe.
