Checking the details, the 14,900 k seems more advantageous.

Considering the specs, 7800X3D seems more reasonable. The price and power consumption both look questionable at 14900k. Investing more in a GPU would make more sense.

How much output or fun are you aiming for? Keep in mind the 7800x3d remains an 8c chip. Are you looking for a 16c+ upgrade? Stay grounded in your requirements and avoid chasing trends and hype. Funds can be redirected elsewhere.

It's hard to picture the power of those massive language models. I worked on UE5 development and my 5800X3D was more than enough, using only half the cores of a 7950X3D while still lagging behind a 7800X3D.

And you haven't told us why. Get the 14900k and 4090. You obviously want them, so get them. Not sure why you're asking for validation here.

The 14900k provides superior performance for my tasks, while the 7950X3D has a clear upgrade route.

Imagine the result you desire—like a faster export, perhaps cutting your time by two minutes, five minutes, or even an hour.
