The same issue occurred with my friend's account last week. A person accessed it and altered his details. It took about 72 hours to resolve the problem through Steam support.

This might be the first time I need to make changes again. It's a shame, I've experienced this before, but I didn't have a steam guard at the time, and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

My friend mentioned having steam guard on, but I believe it offers little benefit since I've noticed many similar problems recently (over the past month). I hope it gets fixed soon.

I received a reply from the support team, which was fast. It seems like a pre-made message. I wrote what I wrote in the Reddit post. I began with the support page being in Norwegian and advising me to write a message, as it is all in Norwegian, making it natural for me to respond in that language. However, since you replied in English last time, I will have it in English now.
