Is starting Windows 11 a slow process?
Hi,
I've noticed my Windows 11 startup has become significantly longer, ranging from half an hour to an hour. After replacing the motherboard, it now takes about 5 to 6 minutes, which is still quite slow for an M.2 drive. I'm also seeing this glitch in the attached picture.
I created the drive a few days ago and noticed the NVDIA driver is triggering the problem once the driver system begins to boot slowly.
What are the specifications of the PC? Which part of the boot process is slow—before or after the BIOS flash screen?
try unplugging any unessential items at start and see if it makes any difference. It could be PC is waiting on something to respond and times out before getting to next item. Even speakers as I have had an old pair mess up start before.
It might not be m.2... especially if its fast everywhere else.
is ram all one set?
i didn't ignore screenshot, just not sure what it means as an error
what are full specs? including storage & PSU
The main concerns seem to be.
Have you refreshed your bios?
Did you perform a fresh Windows 11 installation using the latest image file?
There might be an issue with the drive or you should check the SMART data.
