I recently installed a new 2080 Ti graphics card. My plan is to conduct a complete PC overhaul within the coming month or so, beginning with this upgrade and integrating it into my existing setup. My performance is currently being assessed while playing PUBG, where I’m achieving approximately 70 frames per second at minimum settings. However, this feels somewhat low, and I’m seeking confirmation on whether this is typical or not. Any guidance would be appreciated. Below are the detailed specifications of my PC:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor (£260.34 from Aria PC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£25.70 from Amazon UK)
Motherboard: MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£115.05 from YoYoTech)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£121.41 from Amazon UK)
Storage: Crucial MX100 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (£79.48 from Amazon UK)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£34.45 from Aria PC)
Power Supply: Antec TruePower Classic 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (£59.98 from Amazon UK)
Optical Drive: Asus BW-16D1HT Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer (£63.56 from Amazon UK)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) (£74.20 from Amazon UK)
Wireless Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN881ND 802.11b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter (£9.79 from CCL Computers)
Other: Acer GN246HL (£200.00)

Perhaps the GDDR6 video memory used is the issue, as it’s been reported to degrade quickly, and Nvidia itself has acknowledged that RTX cards are prone to failure.

It’s recently that I understood, actually.

Would you have investigated using any programs designed to identify visual strain?

Indeed, however I’m not entirely clear on the situation. I executed FurMark and it appeared to function without problems?
