Two years ago I was playing Satisfactory by myself. I had a GTX 670, i7 940, 24GB RAM, etc. One day I logged back in to find the performance was terrible. Before I logged in I was getting around 40-50 FPS with medium settings, but now I was only getting 15-20 FPS with low settings. I had no idea what changed. I tried windowed mode, full screen, adjusting settings, but nothing helped. I wasn't very tech-savvy then, but now that I've learned more, I think I understand the issue. My FPS would rise if I moved further away from my main factory, but drop again when I got closer. The GTX 670 only has 2GB of VRAM, and I believe all the machines in my factory exceeded that limit, causing performance to crash. It was even worse because my factory setup was a mess. I upgraded to a GTX 1650 and things improved, but at the time I didn't know what had happened. Does my explanation make sense? I'm not playing well anymore, so I only have details from what occurred.

Execute DDU to eliminate all GPU drovers on your system, then reinstall manually using the newest version from Nvidia's support page, running the installer as an administrator. Provide the following details during setup:

CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. Also, specify the current BIOS version for your motherboard.
