Is my PC compatible?
Hello, I'm checking if the PC is functioning properly and whether any adjustments are needed. I'm also wondering if adding a CPU cooler would be beneficial and if the Ryzen processor is sufficient. Additionally, I'd like to consider purchasing some fans. You can find more options at https://pcpartpicker.com/list/. Regarding the monitor, I'm interested in getting one with 144Hz or even 165Hz, but I don't want to spend too much. Can you assist me?
Hey there,
You'll have to submit the BB code once more. The link is currently displaying as empty.
Hello, I'm checking if the PC is functioning properly and whether any adjustments are needed. I'm also wondering if adding a CPU cooler would be beneficial and if the Ryzen model is sufficient. Additionally, I'd like to consider purchasing a monitor with a 144Hz or even 165Hz refresh rate but without overspending. Could you assist me with this?
Yes, the build looks quite good overall. Almost everything fits well and should function together. The CPU is solid. With a bit more money, you could upgrade to models like 5600x, 5700x or 5800x3d. The 5800x3d would be excellent for gaming. The 5600 is fine but not particularly strong. The other CPUs I talked about would perform better in games. What resolution are you planning to use? 1080p or 1440p?
Hello.
The main issue is my budget. I would like a 5700x but it's more expensive, so I don't want to spend too much on my monitor. I'd prefer a 1440p model. I think I'll go with the 5600x, but then I need a monitor with at least 144Hz. I'm not sure about the resolution, but I believe I should opt for a 1440p one. Are there any good budget-friendly 1440p monitors available, or should I just stick to 1080p?
Both the 5600x and 5700x models offer more L3 cache, which is advantageous for gaming.
For the monitor:
The one I currently own is highly praised. It's an exceptional display. It's the MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD 1440p WQHD 165hz.
You might also consider a 1080p model. Recently, I purchased the AOC 24g2U 144hz with UISB hub. This one here:

is quite affordable, yet it's an outstanding IPS monitor.
