Is my motherboard okay?
I've been tracking CPU and GPU temperatures with CPUID HWMonitor during gaming, skipping the motherboard section. When I review the data, the readings look normal: CPU temperature at 146°F (66°C), GPU temps at 123°F (51°C) and 149°F (65°C), and system temp at 231°F (111°C). These values seem typical for my setup.
It seems there might be some sensor readings that don't match expectations. At 110°C you can easily verify it yourself. Close all programs you don’t need to retain data, then press the power button briefly to shut down the PC instantly. Immediately touch a finger to the area between the IO shield and the CPU—those components are among the hottest parts besides the CPU. If it reaches 110°C, the finger would become dry and you wouldn’t be able to hold it for long. It’s normal to feel hot, up to about 80-90°C is acceptable, but anything above 110°C isn’t safe.
