Is my m.2 Sata?
I have two hard drives and two SATA SSDs. Adding an M.2 SSD might affect one of your SATA ports. I think this board is outdated and probably lacks a proper NVMe slot, but I’m not sure if it would interfere with the existing connections.
That's quite disappointing. Are there options to modify the SATA port or convert USB 3 to SATA? Would that provide full-speed performance?
Everyone, just follow the guidelines... The M.2 slot works with both PCIe and SATA connections. NVMe is also possible, especially on DDR4 boards when the slot allows PCIe. Note that SATA ports aren't turned off by this setup.
