Is my headset making the sound from my laptop way too loud when plugged into the 3.5mm jack?
Hey, my ASUS Vivobook 14 OLED laptop has Realtek audio drivers installed on it. When I plug in headphones to the 3.5mm jack, the sound is way too loud. Even at 20% volume, it sounds like it's going up to 80%. By 50%, it becomes painful to listen to. Can you help me with this? I want normal, quiet sound instead of that crazy amplification and pain in my ears. NOTE: This used on my old HP Omen gaming laptop too. I thought the problem was the laptop itself, but now it's happening with my new Asus laptop. I'm pretty sure it's a driver issue or something similar. Or maybe the driver is sending out high signal strength through that 3.5mm jack? I am totally confused. Please help if you can fix this for me.
