Are there any methods to clearly identify the source of problems with my system? I experience unpredictable and sporadic issues that seem connected to either my MOBO or my GPU.

I encountered an error code during startup: a long beep followed by three short ones, which for Asus MOBO models indicates a GPU problem. Fixing this involves changing the video setting in BIOS from 'Auto' to 'PCIe', but then the issue reappears after a few starts, returning to the original setting. I've also reset the CMOS battery, but it doesn't resolve the problem.

Additionally, I face Direct X errors in certain games, ranging from incomplete launches to crashing error codes and BSODs. I've tested various drivers and BIOS versions, yet the issues persist.

Lastly, my Asus MOBO RGB control software sometimes fails to display lights, appearing dark while everything else functions normally. This pattern suggests a potential issue with the MOBO software itself.

My concern is whether any diagnostic tools exist to pinpoint whether the problem lies with one component, another, or both, and if so, how to address it under warranty.

Are the latest updates available?
If needed, remove the GPU; otherwise, it should be a motherboard, but it could also be a PSU or RAM.

An update was recently released. I applied it and it seemed to resolve the RGB problem. However, I'm still experiencing GPU errors. Battlefield 2042 will display Direct X error codes, fail to load, and/or crash when it attempts to load a game. Hell Let Loose will also fail upon loading. Just as it should, when it's time to perform - it crashes.

did you experiment with gaming using your integrated GPU alongside your CPU? Does it function similarly then?
