Greetings, everyone!

Considering your expertise (and my relative lack thereof), I’m reaching out for assistance. I believe my frame rates in numerous games are significantly lower than they should be, and I've conducted tests using a benchmark with the following results:

UserBenchmarks: Game 55%, Desk 68%, Work 49%
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 – 64.3%
GPU: AMD R9 290X – 56.9%
SSD: Crucial M500 240GB – 82%
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB – 71.3%
RAM: Crucial BLT8G3D1608ET3LX0 (2x8GB) – 61.3%
MBD: MSI B85-G43 GAMING (MS-7816)

Here are my settings as displayed in GPU-Z and CPU-Z, accessible via these links:

My frame rates in the following games are:

GTA V – 40-45 FPS on Low with all options disabled.
Vermintide – 30-32 FPS on Low with all options disabled.
CSGO – 70-75 FPS on Low with all options disabled.
Rainbow Six Siege – 40-45 FPS on Low with all options disabled.
Total War: Warhammer 2 – 25-30 FPS on Low.
Total War: Three Kingdoms – Almost unplayable; experiencing stuttering and a consistent 20fps in-game, even on Low settings.

Don’t my R9 290X and CPU together typically yield much higher frame rates when playing games? Am I overlooking something within my configuration, or is it time to consider an upgrade?

Is your gameplay running at 1080p resolution? Could you please specify the brand and specifications of your power supply? Also, what are the temperature readings for your graphics card and central processing unit during gaming sessions?

Hi, I’m experiencing a similar issue, however it's occurring with different equipment; my central processing unit and graphics card temperatures are consistently ranging from 45 to 55 degrees Celsius. I need to find a solution.

I’m playing at 1080p with a Cooler Master VS V650S. My graphics card and processor temperatures are typically between 45 and 65 degrees Celsius. It's odd that, if I increase the settings in games like Grand Theft Auto V, my frames per second increases slightly compared to when they’re on low – but it’s still significantly below what I expect for my hardware, isn’t it?
