is MS Office Works legit?
I'm searching for advice on purchasing Windows 10 Pro. It costs $200 from the Windows Store, but MS Office Works is only $50. Reviews are positive, though some suggest it might be fake. Anyone with experience can share their thoughts? Check this link: https://msofficeworks.com/product/micros...t-download
Seems artificial. Officeworks is a genuine Australian business. MS-Officeworks appears fabricated to create an impression. Typically, deceptive sites claim legitimacy by displaying badges like "Microsoft certified," "McAfee Secure Certified," or "BBB certified," but these can't be verified on official Microsoft, BBB, or McAfee pages. The domain registration is private, which is common for personal websites where the owner wants to conceal their address. Companies usually don’t use private domains since they’re registered to their business location, not an individual address.
It's fake! I tried to buy a copy of Windows 10. Received a "activaction code" (sic) - which immediately made me worry. The activation code was invalid and when I contacted msofficeworks via their chat line - first they just hung up on my chat, the second time they told me I had to download their software - which didn't work either. I was also convinced by obviously fake customer feedback as well as the TRUSTSPOT analysis and recommendations too. I contacted TRUSTSPOT to tell them my experience (via their online chat) and they too ended the chat instantly. As the old adage goes "if it too good to be true ...." caveat emptor colleagues!
You should reach out to your credit card provider to report the fraud and request a refund; they may also send you a replacement card. This stops them from receiving the stolen funds. The company will handle the situation and can disable any additional cards they own in your region, preventing further use on their platform.
There are several options to obtain a Windows 10 license at a lower cost. You might consider using an old Windows 7/8/8.1 key, which can be effective if you have one. It worked for me recently or you could check eBay. If the price is below $5, it's a small sacrifice, otherwise you may need to explore other alternatives.
