Is it time to consider a CPU upgrade?
You're currently using an I5-9600K with a 3080 chipset. Whether it's time for an upgrade depends on your needs—since you don’t stream or edit video, performance gains may be limited. The 15th-gen Ryzen processors are expected later this year, but unless you anticipate heavier workloads, waiting could be reasonable. Consider testing upgrades if you want to stay ahead.
It comes down to personal preference. If you're tired of carrying that leather couch as a wallet, go for it. But if it works well enough for you, you might want to reconsider. Upgrading offers a lot of benefits.
You must decide if your PC can handle your needs. If not, it's time to let it go. Some folks would want my setup, but I'm struggling to upgrade from a 12600KF to a 7800X3D and a 2080 to a 4080.
These specs could really help others, but I'm focusing on getting more GPU power this year. If your current setup causes lag or imbalance, upgrading might be necessary.
