What would be the optimal combination of CPU and GPU for 1440p Ultra or higher, especially at over 120fps? I was considering a Ryzen 7 3700x with an RTX 2080. I need video editing and require strong multitasking, so I’m leaning toward the R7 3700X. The main concern is the GPU; should I opt for a high-end model or a more affordable one? My issue is that I mainly edit videos, not run CUDA applications, so the rendering speed isn’t the priority.

You'll typically receive 1440p ultra 120 FPS in most games unless you have RT enabled with the 2080 super. The performance boost from the super to the TI modest is significant, nearly double that of the 2070 super. I already found it hard to justify the price increase from the 2070 super to the 2080 super.
