Is it secure to install ASUS optimal on your motherboard BIOS, and will it affect performance?
I have this setup:
intel i5-4460 cpu
asus b85m-g motherboard
rx 580 gpu
hyperX fury 8gb ddr3 ram
deep cool 600w psu
I've been playing AAA games at 1080p with at least 60 fps but occasionally noticing stutters. I'm curious about how ASUS Optimal Mode affects my motherboard BIOS. Is there any issue with my build? My CPU usage is around 80-90% during gameplay, and it doesn't seem to fully utilize the RAM. The GPU usage stays stable but spikes briefly. I don’t have the budget for upgrades right now, so I’m trying not to spend money. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated?
I'm thinking about upgrading my RAM again. I wanted to confirm I was choosing the right hardware, so I asked for advice. However, I noticed that during this particular game, I'm only using around 4000 MB of my 8 GB RAM, yet it still lags. Could it be that the RAM is still insufficient?
