Hey there! Yes, you can potentially apply the Windows 8.1 OEM code to another device. While it’s tied to the original hardware, some users have found ways to transfer or use it on different machines through software tools or registry edits. Just be sure to back up your settings before making changes. Let me know if you need more details!

Without a hint of Microsoft. It’s not very useful since they usually don’t assist. You can find them on r/microsoftsoftwareswap for a low price.

I believe if an install for Windows 8.1 exists, the key should activate it during the "Enter your product key" screen. It functions with Windows 7 OEM keys too. If you lack a ready installation for Windows 8.1, don't worry—see this guide on activation. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windo...resh-media The only limitation mentioned is the "Upgrade to Windows 8.1 Using Product Key" option.

Check if users in r/microsoftsoftwareswap are reliable before sharing money. Avoid sending payments to unknown sellers.

Starting around 8.1, the keys aren't tied to physical hardware (besides OEM systems with BIOS keys). Just avoid running multiple devices simultaneously.
