Hi, I was thinking about playing CS:GO again after a break. When I started, I used the same settings as before, but the FPS was terrible—around 30 to 50 compared to my usual 200-300. I tried reinstalling, changing settings, adding launch options, and checking the game files, but nothing worked. With the lowest settings I got about 70 FPS, though it wasn’t stable and dropped to 30 FPS. I have an RTX 3070 and an AMD Ryzen 5 5600x, and I’ve had no issues before. My CPU usage stays at 25% or lower, and my RAM is at 50% with 16GB. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

what temperatures are your cpu and gpu handling?
have you completed any malware scans?
do you have geforce experience or nvc configurations to boost image quality?
provide full system specifications including each component's make, model, and usage time.

My temperatures are in the higher 40 to lower 50 degrees. I don’t think I have any malware, at least according to Malwarebytes. I don’t believe I have any GeForce Experience settings. I’m not sure what NVC is. I have an ASUS ROG STRIX B550 F Gaming motherboard, an MSI RTX 3070 VENTUS 2X OC, AMD Ryzen 5 5600x, a Corsair RM850 850w PSU. All these parts are from the end of 2020. As I mentioned, CSGO has worked well before. I updated my BIOS yesterday just in case, and it helped until now. When I played again today, I’m back to 40-50 fps.
