Hello
My CPU is an Intel Core i3 2120
I need more performance as I don’t even have a discreet GPU and I can’t play some low-end games properly
I have a few questions:
1) Can I overclock it or at least get more performance?
2) How do I overclock it?
3) Will it damage my CPU?
Thanks for viewing my humble question

What else is included in your specifications?
The i3-2120 cannot be overclocked.
However, with integrated graphics, performance might improve if you use faster dual-channel RAM.

Please confirm the specifications of your motherboard and RAM sticks. The dual channel setup for the 4GB RAM and single channel mode for the 2GB RAM indicate potential performance differences. An older article discusses memory scaling on Haswell processors, which might be relevant. You may also find a bios option to allocate more system RAM to the graphics adapter for improved performance. Consider upgrading to faster 2x4 or 2x8GB RAM if needed.

I question whether your motherboard supports overclocking for either the CPU or GPU.
Your CPU is actually quite good given its age.
Try this basic test:
Play your games, but reduce the resolution and visual effects.
This can slightly improve the graphics card's performance.
If your FPS rises, it suggests your CPU can handle a better graphics setup.
If your FPS remains unchanged, you're probably more constrained by the CPU.
For a graphics upgrade, a GTX750ti would be roughly ten times more powerful than your built-in graphics.
They cost around $50 on eBay.
Regarding RAM, the motherboard claims support for up to 16GB, but on the RAM QVL list I don’t see any entries larger than 8GB.
I’m not sure if I’d consider upgrading to 8 or 16GB.

I accessed the BIOS, navigated to Advanced Frequency Settings, found the Internal Graphics Clock, it was set to auto. Should I adjust it to 3000? Would that indicate an overclock? Could it damage my PC?

Any attempt to overclock can be risky. The concern lies in understanding the extent of the damage. I'm unsure about the specifics. If you're curious, try small adjustments and track the results. Given the weak performance of your built-in graphics, you might be let down.
