I also downloaded the overclocking materials from AMD and increased my PC's clock speed. It functioned properly initially, but now whenever I attempt to use it for other tasks, it becomes unresponsive. I checked by repeatedly adjusting the settings, but the issue persists.

I would navigate to bios and select exit, then reset to optimal or original settings, save and restart. Check if this resolves the issue.

You likely increased the graphics value unnecessarily. Try a few benchmarks after overclocking to verify stability. Reduce the numbers and test again.

what are your complete system specifications down to the PSU.
the most likely solution is to revert to your standard BIOS settings, as suggested by @Fix_that_Glitch.
it might just be an unstable overclock, you’d need adequate cooling for your CPU or GPU or memory—especially if you’re pushing it overclocked.
your power supply may not provide enough power.
the CPU/GPU/Memory can’t sustain the desired frequency at the specified voltages.
RAM also influences how your CPU handles high-speed RAM, which can limit stable overclocking performance on slower RAM speeds.
these are probably the main reasons for your instability; there could be others, but these are the most frequent causes.

Just a note, you can't exceed the speed of your processor—it's already locked. I'm not sure which AMD application you were using, since you have an Intel chip.
